Redwood Caregiver Resource Center provides information and assistance to families and caregivers of adults with brain impairments due to injury or disease, as well as to the caregivers of the frail elderly.
Part of the assistance they offer comes in the form of support groups that are led by professional counselors. The members of the group are people in the community coping with similar concerns related to taking care of their loved ones. The counselors can listen if you just need to talk, but they can also offer professional advise.
They meet every second Thursday in the evening via Zoom. This group is especially good for those who are not able to get away from home, but would benefit from meeting in a support group.
