After School Programs

Program  Leader. Multiple openings for part-time Program Leaders in Guerneville, Monte Rio, Windsor & Cloverdale. Program leaders provide academic assistance and tutoring to students in the program and will lead academic, enrichment & recreational group activities: . Elementary-middle school aged children. $10-$12 per hour salary range.

  • Qualifications - Prior training or experience working with diverse youth in an organized setting. One year college preferred; ability to communicate and work well with chidren. Fingerprinting & Department of Justice screening; TB clearance; passage of Instructional Assistant Competency test required.

AmeriCorps - Literacy Project Leader. Four openings for full time Leaders in partnership with AmeriCorps, a federally funded national and community service program. These Promise Fellow Leaders will work to create a literacy program with K-8 grade students in all 4 Russian River After School programs. Leaders will also organize volunteer efforts and bring members of the community into schools to support learning.

  • Benefits - $1,100/month stipend; health & dental insurance; $4,725 Education Award upon completion of 1700 hours of service; child care (if eligible); weekly professional development training.
  • Requirements - Experience working with youth preferred; CPR certification; TB test screening; fingerprint & Department of Justice screening. Must be able to pass an Instructional Assistant Proficiency exam given by the Sonoma County Office of Education.

Adult & Youth Employment

Job Coaches. Immediate openings for part time/on call Job Coaches to work with Department of Rehabilitation clients on a fee-for-service basis. Hours will vary depending on the referrals received from Department of Rehabilitation counselors. Job coaches provide on-the-job support to (1) assess essential job skills for a particular job through a Situational Assessment and/or (2) help clients learn and perform required tasks, become integrated and comfortable with their work environment and assist in problem solving where needed. Salary $12 per hour.

Counseling & Prevention Program

Youth Diversion /Restorative Justice Case Manager. Immediate opening in our Sebastopol Family Resource Center. The Youth Diversion/Restorative Justice Program Case Manager reports to the Counseling & Prevention Program Manager and is responsible for caseload management of all youth diversion clients. This is a 32-hour per week position and is eligible for full benefits. Salary range is $15 - $17 per hour.

  • Requirements - BA degree and minimum of two years working with teens and/or juvenile justice system.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
