As with most non profit public benefit corporations WCCS is overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors. We are extremely fortunate to have a group of highly competent board members representing a number of different aspects of our local communities including: business, education, government and law enforcement. Currently membership is limited to thirteen members whose responsibilities include but are not limited to hiring and evaluating the Executive Director, assuring financial solvency and fund raising.
We are audited annually by a contracted CPA firm and have never had a material audit exception. Monthly board meetings, which include detailed financial reports, along with standing committees assist the agency in operating in an efficient manner.
We currently employ a total staff of 82, consisting of 19 full time, 46 part time and 17 temporary employees. WCCS provides a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirement plans and more to all employees working at least 20 hours per week.
